The names are one letter apart and people search for both. They are different products. Debatia launched on Product Hunt in 2024 as a web platform for online debates with an AI judge. Debatable is a live video round with a real person, judged in writing. When we checked on October 28, 2026, Debatia's website was down.
Every Debatia claim below comes from its own Product Hunt listing, the only page from its maker we could reach. debatia.ai returned a 404 on October 28, 2026, and we found no App Store listing. Debatable publishes this page. If Debatia comes back or anything here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
That is its maker's own summary. We could not open the product to confirm any of it, and the descriptions on AI-tool directories (skill pairing, a language count, a paid plan) are not on any page Debatia runs, so we do not repeat them as fact.
Agree on a topic, argue face to face under a clock, and read a decision with both sides scored out of 100 and the reason. Public leaderboard, replays anyone can watch, and an AI opponent for the hours when nobody is waiting.
Fair warning about our own column: this is not a comparison between two working products. The Debatia column records what its maker said at launch, so that someone searching for it knows what it was and what the closest working alternative does.
You sign in with Google, Apple or email, answer a few questions about how you want to be matched, and enter the queue. When two people are seated, you settle on a topic together and take opposite sides. The round runs on video, as an open conversation or with timed speeches. When it ends, the AI judge writes a decision: who won, a score out of 100 for each side, the clash that decided it, and the reason. Your rating updates, and if both of you agree, the replay goes on Watch.
You need a camera and a quiet half hour, and someone has to be in the queue when you are. There is no phone app on the stores. If Debatia's daily-topic, text-first format is what you wanted, the closest things on Debatable are the topic pages and the recorded rounds you can answer on your own time.
A web platform for online debates launched on Product Hunt in 2024. Its own listing describes daily topics, real-time debates, voice input, support for several languages and an AI that judges the outcome, and lists it as free. On October 28, 2026 its website, debatia.ai, returned a 404 error and we found no app store listing, so we could not check any of this against a working product.
Not as far as we can tell. The site returned a 404 on October 28, 2026. If it comes back, we will re-check this page. Until then, treat third-party descriptions of skill pairing, language counts or paid plans as unverified; they do not appear on any page Debatia runs.
A live debate platform where two people meet on camera in the browser, agree on a topic, take opposite sides and talk it out, with timed speeches if they want them. An AI judge then writes a decision naming the winner, scoring both sides out of 100 and explaining why. Rounds feed a public leaderboard, and replays can be watched without an account.
No. The names are close, which is why this page exists. Debatable is the product at debatable.com, run by Debatable, Inc. Debatia is a separate product from a different maker, and its site is currently down.
Today only one of them can be used. If you want what Debatia described, a real-time online debate with voice and an AI decision, Debatable does that with a real person on camera and a written decision. If Debatia returns, this page will say what changed.
One sign-in, a topic you both accept, a real person on the other side, and a judge who explains the result.
